FGCU National Signing Day Special

Welcome to National Signing Day! FGCUEaglesNest will continuously update this page with the latest future Eagles that have signed to continue their athletic career at Florida Gulf Coast. Also check out our full 2014 commits page. Look at which future Eagles already signed their NLIs during the early signing period back in November.

Lauren Greene (Women's Soccer): This Floridian (Lakeland) forward signed with FGCU and played club ball with the VSI West Florida Flames.
Elyse Hansen (Women's Soccer): Hansen is a three star goalkeeper from Mequon, WI. She played club for FC Wisconsin Eclipse.

Chris Hopkins (Baseball): Out of DeLand High School, Hopkins is a right handed pitcher who has been clocked at 89 mph. He was named a Perfect Game 2013 Underclass High Honorable Mention.

Joshua Dye (Baseball): Also out of DeLand, this LHP and 1st baseman is a south paw who signed to be a FGCU Eagle. He also held interest from UCF and UNF.

Miguel Jaime (Men's Soccer): This four star midfielder is ranked 26th in his position in the class of 2014 and hails from Greenwood Village, CO. He played club for Colorado Rush.

Taylor Berry (Women's Soccer): Four star defender out of Fleming Island, FL has signed her letter to play soccer at FGCU.
Leonel DelaCruz (Men's Cross Country): Out of nearby Immokalee High School, DelaCruz has signed to stay nearby at Florida Gulf Coast. With a 15:50.38 mark in the 5K, he placed 1st at the FHSAA Cross Country State Championships in 2013.

Anita Munoz (Women's Cross Country): Also from Immokalee, Munoz signed to continue running at Florida Gulf Coast.
Samuel Chaffin (Men's Tennis): This three star recruit has signed his NLI to be a future Eagle. Chaffin is ranked 29th in Florida in his class.
