1. According to Bleacher Reports' Doug Brodess, the 2012-2013 FGCU Men's Basketball team is the most exciting NCAA team in the past decade. I couldn't agree more with Mr. Brodess. The soaring dunks and heel clicking swept up the whole nation; everyone was rooting on FGCU. Link
2. The Atlantic Sun released championship dates and locations for the 2013-2014 season. FGCU is guaranteed to host the A-Sun Sand Volleyball Championship (Estero Community Park) on April 19th-20th and the A-Sun Baseball Championship (Swanson Stadium) on May 21st-25th.
For women's soccer (November 2nd-10th), the first round will be held at the three highest seeds schools while the final round (final four) will be hosted by the #1 overall seed. Men's soccer will be held at the location of the #1 seeded school from November 13th-17th.
The men's basketball tournament will be held at the highest seed school that advanced to the next round. That will take place between March 4th and March 9th of 2014. In women's basketball, the top 4 seeds will be hosting until the semifinals and finals, which will be hosted by the #1 seed.
*Dunks Of The Day will be a series in which I post interesting internet finds about FGCU or small news about FGCU that does not need a whole article.
