Chris Sale represented the White Sox (and of course FGCU) at the MLB All-Star game tonight. Tom Seaver threw out the honorary first pitch to start things off in New York.
Sale started the bottom of the second for the AL. He made quick work of the NL. Making David Wright ground out to third, then striking out Carlos Gonzalez, and finally getting Molina to fly out. Quick 1-2-3.
Sale also took the mound in the bottom of the third for the AL. He started it off by striking out Troy Tulowitzki and then getting Michael Cuddyer to ground out. He ended the third by getting Bryce Harper to line out to third. The line drive was well hit but it was right to Miguel Cabrera. Six up six down. Chris Sale gets the win.
Final Stats: 2 Innings, 24 pitches (17 strikes), 2 strikeouts
