2015 Point Guard Talks Unofficial Visit And More

At the Wally Keller Classic this weekend there were a lot of names on the Eagles radar, including 2015 North Gwinnett (Ga) point guard Tobias Howard.

"It went really well, we won both of our games," Howard said.

After recently being medically cleared following a concussion, the 6'0" guard put up 19 points, 7 assists, 7 rebounds in a 63-42 win against Gibbs, and 17 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds in a win against Palmetto.

The Bulldogs are currently 17-3 on the season and ranked third in the state of Georgia.

"It's going well, we're just trying to take it one game at a time and focus in on defense,"Howard said.

While in the neighborhood for the Wally Keller Classic, Howard took an unofficial visit to the sunny campus of Florida Gulf Coast.

"I liked the campus, especially the dorms, and just the feel," Howard said. "The weather and beach are nice.

While holding offers from Northeastern, UT Martin, and Kennesaw State, Howard also said he has received interest from Tennessee, Auburn, LSU, Appalachian State, UCF, Virginia, and of course FGCU.
